Remains of Innocence by J.A. Jance
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
So, after reading about a third of the book and heading to work I found myself confused about whether the family situation in the beginning of the book--the Selma/Liza/Guy one--was real or something I read. So I guess that's a sign that it's a good hook and pretty realistic. It was a very good story, although really horrifying in the outcome, the whodunnit part. And the end wraps up REALLY fast and rather too neatly, but I like Liza, so I hope Jance keeps her in the mix of characters in Bisbee.
