It was very hard to remember throughout this book that Anne would have still been a teenager had she survived the camps. The book reminds us that she would have been a difficult teen even under good circumstances and the author posits that she returned angry and broken inside in many different ways. Good book. Lots of stuff about forgiveness and caring about others.
