House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
Way too freakin' weird for me. [2010]
Well, 9 years later....my son read it and loaned his copy to me so I felt like I had to read it competitively. It's still really freakin' weird, but worthwhile as long as you don't mind ready crazy-talk. I have no idea what this is actually about. The ultimate point of the whole thing seems to be the power of love. I think. And our internal travels being bigger on the inside than they appear on the outside. And some other things. Lots of fascinating characters, for sure.
