Day Shift: Midnight Crossroad by Charlaine Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a fun series, a lot more sensible than the Sookie books, though she does (sorta) make an appearance in this book.
So, Manfred is accused of theft from one of his clients after she died in the middle of a session with him. Also, there's a strange child visiting the Rev with some ... unusual growth issues, and a new combination hotel/old folks' home has opened in Midnight. Fun, entertaining, and a decent (not great) mystery.
