I've read this book on paper already, but listening to it was (as usual) a different experience entirely. For one thing, the Italian pronunciation was there, which it certainly wasn't quite in my head while reading!
This is a fabulous book, in the original sense of that word. It seems to drag a bit in the middle, maybe because I knew what was coming and wanted to get there already?
Anyone who says kids' books are for kids only is missing a lot in this author.
A rollicking good time, once adult cynicism and "reality" is set firmly aside.
