Review: Shadow of Night
Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book suffers from the usual Book Two of a Trilogy situation, but it is absolutely fascinating to travel back with a witch and a vampire to 16th-century England (and Eastern Europe), especially the London of the period. Harkness is outstanding at setting a scene--I could see the market area and twisty streets in the neighborhoods.
Fun. Time for me to get on with book three.
