Ehrenreich is one of my favorite authors, and here she turns her eye to journals she wrote as a teenager and young adult. I'm not sure really what to make of what she has to say about her younger self--she sounds rather like a pain in the ass, though not without plenty of reason. But the last chapter, in which she talks about atheism compared to theism and monotheism...THAT chapter made the book for me.
