Review: The Girl Who Played with Fire

The Girl Who Played with Fire
The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Well, nothing like an ending that forces you to read the next book! This one is all about the murders of three people--one of whom is Lisbeth's "official" guardian, that horrible, horrible man from the first book. And then things go completely to hell only becoming clear in the last 100 pages or so. While Lisbeth is perfectly capable of killing someone, no one who knows her can actually believe she did these murders, and even at the end she .... well.... read the book. Sometimes genetics are funny things, that's all I'll say.

Also, Erika Berger: the most annoying character ever. I can't stand her, likely because Larsson doesn't seem to like her much either.
