Twenty Blue Devils, by Aaron Elkins

This series has begun to seem like "Gideon on the Road to _________." This time he's in Tahiti helping John Lau, his FBI friend, with a family problem.

John's uncle owns a coffee plantation and his son-in-law recently died. There is some question as to whether his death was accidental or not, which is why John and Gideon have been invited to visit.

Of course, it wasn't accidental.

This is mystery lite, but fun. I like the characters, and that helps a great deal when the plot is as lightweight as this one.
