This particular story is about bones (lots of bones) purported to be Jesus by assorted people with an axe to grind. They are definitely old bones, they are from the right era, but before anything definitive can be found out, all the bones are removed from possible examination. It was helpful for me to have some clear knowledge of the period about which these bones came from, otherwise, I think this would have been a little on the confusing side.
Still, it was good to get to know Tempe, who seems to be a straight-shooter, and her 'boyfriend,' a Montreal cop. There are some really well-drawn characters in this book, and while the plot was rather unnecessarily complex, the action moving from Montreal to Israel kept the plot moving.
Yeah, I'll have to add her to the list. I'm never going to get everything read!
