In the Name of the Children: An FBI Agent's Relentless Pursuit of the Nation's Worst Predators by Jeffrey L. Rinek
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Much better written than I expected it to be. This guy is extremely open with the toll his job ultimately took on him and his family, which makes him so much more amazing that he maintains the ability to see each person as human, even those with terrible crimes in their past. Truly, searching for killers is hard regardless but talking to people who have killed children seems soul-killing. I'm glad the FBI has people like this working, rather than just bureaucrats making a name for themselves.
