What a fun book! Vic is well outside her usual haunts, traveling to Kansas to locate a couple of missing people as a favor for her niece. What she finds there is, however, not outside her usual discoveries, though she rarely has to take on para-military groups AND the U.S. intelligence and military communities in Chicago!
Great story. Really, this might be my favorite Warshawski book ever, which is saying something considering I've loved a great many of them.
