Review: Little Black Lies

Little Black Lies Little Black Lies by Sharon Bolton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So, your basic suspense book, set in the Falklands. That is unusual. Then add three different viewpoints as the story unfolds. Add a friendship-killing accident involving children; stir in more missing children and a slightly incompetent police force. Sprinkle in a lot of poetry and Falkland wildlife references, including a horrifying scene of hundreds of beached whales.

This book is interesting, literally, right up to the VERY LAST SENTENCE! Don't read the last page first as it will ruin everything. The things we do for love, for passion, and for absolution of guilt or suffering are perfectly on display here. Great book. Glad I read it. Now I need to find some of Coleridge's poetry.........
