The Bazaar of Bad Dreams by Stephen King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The fun thing about Stephen King short stories is that they are all over the map, from straight scary/creepy stuff to sad meditations to historical bits about baseball or whatever. And that's what this collection is. Plus, in this book, he tries to explain where these particular stories came from. Some came to him whole, some he's been noodling around for decades. I love to read -- and take apart -- his writing. It's fun both ways, and never detracts from the entertainment value.
