Review: The Zig Zag Girl

The Zig Zag Girl The Zig Zag Girl by Elly Griffiths
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Interesting concept. Takes place in Brighton a few years after WWII and "stars" two former Army special project guys. One is now a police officer and the other is a stage magician. The Zig Zag Girl is a magic trick in which the assistant is sawn in 3 by the magician...except in this case the (former) assistant is ACTUALLY killed. And then other people die. And there's more to the title than that but no spoilers here. I may try to read others by her. I like the time period and the characters, though the mystery wasn't that complex.
