A Season for Murder by Ann Granger
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A 'cozy' mystery with a bit of a bite: all very correct Britishness, except the heroine isn't quite the old-fashioned type you'd expect. The faint romantic whiff makes the story interesting, but I found the main mystery a little ... obvious. I don't know. I liked the characters for the most part, and I'd love to see if Bamford is all that. I guess the story is just slightly dated.
